Will the Baltimore riots be used as an excuse to further militarize the police?

It's been done before. And all this uprising is coming just as Congress is trying to STOP police Militarization. I'm not into conspiracies, but it's very convenient. Especially when violent crimes are shown to be on the decline, yet the police are still ramping up for war.

I'm beginning to believe more and more that this is what Congress wants. They tell us they want to demilitarize the police and they want to end the wars, but these things continue to conveniently happen.

Control the police and you control the populace.

Nationalized maybe. It seams the present trend is body cams which may be provided via Federal Government grants. The bigger problem will be the cost of data storage.
