No one really knows what relations between the two countries will be like until there's a new president and they lay out their agenda in regards to relations with Cuba imo.Response by LTC Private RallyPoint Member made Feb 18 at 2016 10:53 AM2016-02-18T10:53:53-05:002016-02-18T10:53:53-05:00SFC Michael Hasbun1311696<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I don't see why not. I can personally speak from experience and say that Cuba needs to come out of the 1950s. It's not only behind in times, but it's in ruins and poverty. I had the luxury of leaving at the age of 7 but my grandmother, aunts, uncles, cousins did not. They struggle everyday just to put food on the table and that's not the worst of it. I would absolutely love to see some change. I can only hope that the U.S. and Cuba can come to agreement that will benefit them and build a good relationship.Response by SFC Anabel Cepero made Feb 18 at 2016 6:35 PM2016-02-18T18:35:24-05:002016-02-18T18:35:24-05:00SrA Edward Vong1313976<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Any presidential visits to foreign nations improve relations with that nation as far as media goes.Response by SrA Edward Vong made Feb 19 at 2016 4:10 AM2016-02-19T04:10:42-05:002016-02-19T04:10:42-05:002016-02-18T10:35:22-05:00
