Will not being allowed to get a security clearance stop me from going Airborne? If I serve without any bad conduct, could I qualify?

I've taken my Asvab and scored a 56 with a 108GT which seems average I guess. I'm looking into 11x option 4. Back in 2016 I received 1 resisting arrest charge which is now considered a Major Misconduct coupled with a petty theft, I'll need a complex package waiver now to join. I want airborne more than anything, will me now not being allowed to get a security clearance stop this? Also, if I serve without any bad conduct in my future could a qualify for a Security Clearance? I want 37f. Does 14p need 1?

When they investigate for security clearances they look at the whole person concept.

Were you actually convicted of the resisting charge or just charged? If it was a charge that was dismissed you would mention it on the SF86 but it may not be held against you. If convicted or plead guilty depends on the investigator.

Yes 14P requires the ability to get a Secret Clearance - which I found out in a Google search. As does 37F.

Well if being physical and prone to fighting is part of your personality, you'll fit right into the infantry lol. 11 series was not too long ago to 11X. Pretty much they'll put you where they need you in the infantry, could be a grunt or could be a mortard. Like said with the clearance, it just depends on the person looking over your background. I had several public disturbance charges etc. and still managed to get a top secret. If you can't get one and go into the 11 series, you'll more than likely end up with one anyways, most of the time without applying for it, due to necessity of man power.

You don’t need a clearance to go Airborne, especially as an 11X. You may still be eligible for a clearance after a full investigation but you won’t be eligible for an interim clearance with those charges.
37F and 14P both require a clearance. You could very easily be eligible for a clearance down the road

I don’t know, but feel that sometimes moods need to be lightened.
With that said, my guess is no. Because it’s it in the song:
“Mission top secret destination unknown , we don’t know if we’re coming home”.
