You will receive orders for PCS unless you have asked and received a return assignment to Italy, which does not sound is the case. Thank you for your service. The army won&#39;t know where to send you next until you are at least half way done with AIT. Your family should accompany you to Texas or wherever your AIT is located. I did the same move years ago from Vicenza Italy to 68C (then 91C) school. At that time it was 5 weeks TDY at Ft Sam then 1 year at one of the MEDCEN phase II sites. You should PCS to the phase II site.
