SPC Deyton Privette3782741<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>So I need to request my next duty station for after korea 6 to 8 months out to better my chances at getting a slot and since Im 88m will that limit my choices on duty stations? For example I've been really interested in fort Gordon GA but since fort Gordon is primarily Intel would I not be able to get into a unit there since I'm transportation? Will my MOS limit my duty station possibilities?2018-07-10T20:31:15-04:00SPC Deyton Privette3782741<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>So I need to request my next duty station for after korea 6 to 8 months out to better my chances at getting a slot and since Im 88m will that limit my choices on duty stations? You should probably start talking with your Branch Manager now. Good Luck, I hope you get what you want, I just signed out on PCS Leave from Fort Gordon.Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Jul 10 at 2018 10:03 PM2018-07-10T22:03:25-04:002018-07-10T22:03:25-04:00SGT Christopher Hayden3782937<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Everyone needs a ride.Response by SGT Christopher Hayden made Jul 10 at 2018 10:14 PM2018-07-10T22:14:31-04:002018-07-10T22:14:31-04:00SGM Bill Frazer3784087<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Damn. 1. Korea is a 1 year tour, I'm not sure when you will need to update your "Dream Sheet". 2. Almost every damn post in the Army has 88M, I had 1 in my SPT Plt in our IN BN at Ft. Abso-effing-lutely. Think about Fort Meade, MD - almost ALL Intelligence professionals there.<br />Now, for Fort Gordon (and I'm there/here) - the CG is a part of TRADOC (under CAC) and this is primarily an AIT base. AIT units are a TDA unit, not typical MTOE (combat) units, and therefore have MUCH less of the normal LOG/Transportation/QM/Ordinance folks. There are also tenant units like NSA, MI BDE, Garrison Command, but they're in the similar TDA situation.Response by MAJ Private RallyPoint Member made Apr 4 at 2019 5:11 PM2019-04-04T17:11:06-04:002019-04-04T17:11:06-04:00MAJ Ronnie Reams8249962<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Gordon s still SESS, AFAIK.
