Will my MOS limit my duty station possibilities?

So I need to request my next duty station for after korea 6 to 8 months out to better my chances at getting a slot and since Im 88m will that limit my choices on duty stations? For example I've been really interested in fort Gordon GA but since fort Gordon is primarily Intel would I not be able to get into a unit there since I'm transportation?

I don’t know a Battalion or higher-level unit in the Army that doesn’t employ 88Ms! Happy hunting for that next assignment.

Fort Gordon is actually home of the Signal Corp. 88Ms are not limited, they can pretty much go anywhere as long as they have slots. You should probably start talking with your Branch Manager now. Good Luck, I hope you get what you want, I just signed out on PCS Leave from Fort Gordon.

Damn. 1. Korea is a 1 year tour, I'm not sure when you will need to update your "Dream Sheet". 2. Almost every damn post in the Army has 88M, I had 1 in my SPT Plt in our IN BN at Ft. Bragg, cause every one else was an 11B .

"Will my MOS limit my duty station possibilities?" Abso-effing-lutely. Think about Fort Meade, MD - almost ALL Intelligence professionals there.
Now, for Fort Gordon (and I'm there/here) - the CG is a part of TRADOC (under CAC) and this is primarily an AIT base. AIT units are a TDA unit, not typical MTOE (combat) units, and therefore have MUCH less of the normal LOG/Transportation/QM/Ordinance folks. There are also tenant units like NSA, MI BDE, Garrison Command, but they're in the similar TDA situation.

Gordon s still SESS, AFAIK. MI moved from Dietrich many moons ago to Huachuca.
