Will ISIS Claim responsibility for the San Bernadino massacre today?

With the San Bernardino standoff taking place apparently by armed thugs with body armor I would not be too shocked if this is an incident that ISIS will claim responsibility for.
[Update 1900 December 2] "An FBI spokesman said it was not clear whether the incident was terror related."
DEVELOPING: Police in San Bernardino, Calif., in pursuit Wednesday of a black SUV believed to be the getaway car for three gunmen who shot up an office holiday party, murdering 14 people, reportedly killed two suspects and were pursuing a third who may have been barricaded in a home after fleeing on foot.
The shootout occurred less than two miles from the social services center where the massacre occurred hours earlier, and police sources told Fox KTTV they believe the men in the SUV were the ones responsible for the earlier attack. It appeared to bring closer to a conclusion a manhunt that began after three heavily armed gunmen "on a mission" -- and garbed in body armor -- burst into a San Bernardino social services facility and murdered in cold blood at least 14 people attending an office holiday party.
The men, who witnesses said were wearing body armor and masks, entered the Inland Regional Center just after 11 a.m. with grim precision, according to San Bernardino Police Chief Jarrod Burguan. Once inside, they opened fire with rifles, shooting people in a conference room where a holiday party was taking place, authorities said. Hundreds of people were seen streaming out of the building moments later, some described by witnesses as holding their hands above their heads and even diving for cover behind cars in a parking lot.
"Up to three people entered the building and opened fire on people inside the building," Burguan said at a news conference some three hours after the first call went out. "The suspects have fled, potentially in a dark-colored SUV.
"They came prepared to do what they did as if on a mission," he added. The incident lasted less then five minutes, police said.

If the attack ends with "martyrdom" islamic-terrorist style I would expect ISIS or al qaeda would claim credit. If this is the way it ends I hope it is treated as a very bad situation and not considered a hiccup in the war on terror

LTC Stephen F. Wow... I just heard about this... My thoughts and prayers go out to all affected. As far as whether this is an ISIS activity... at a holiday party... held at a social services facility... targeting a specific group...? No... for currently obvious reasons, I think this has an American motive... I will be waiting for the ownership, and if it's foreign terrorist, I will be very surprised...

What I saw last night was that the space was being rented by an organization for a Christmas banquet.

One of the shooters apparently worked there or had worked there. This suggests not ISIS.

Couple Kept Tight Lid on Plans for San Bernardino Shooting

On Wednesday morning, Syed Rizwan Farook and his wife, Tashfeen Malik, left their 6-month-old daughter with Mr. Farook’s mother, telling her they were going out for a doctor’s appointment, a relative said.

By nightfall, it was clear that was a ruse, as the police said the couple spent the day carrying out a rampage at a social services center that killed at least 14 people before leading officers on a sprawling chase that ended with the two dead in a bloody gunfight in a suburban neighborhood.

Before the attack, Mr. Farook, 28, who was born in Illinois and whose parents are from Pakistan, joined colleagues at an annual holiday party for the San Bernardino County Public Health Department, where he worked for five years as an environmental inspector, officials said. He had attended the same party the year before, and he did not appear out of place.

Soon, however, he stormed out in anger. The nature of the dispute was not clear, but when he returned with his wife, 27, both of them were dressed in tactical gear and carrying assault rifles, officials said. That level of preparation is among the factors investigators are weighing as they examine a motive for the attack.

Well it seems this rampage was motivated by either domestic terrorism by a Muslim couple or international terror. I suspect that it was domestic terrorism by Jihadi terrorists.
Based on pro-ISIS tweets yesterday, ISIS members or affiliates have already been lauding the actions of the "three lions" who carried out the assault.

It looks like maybe the guy was proselytized by ISIS - to go postal on his co-workers.

Funny thing is that the guy was employed going around to businesses inspecting reefers, kitchens, deep fryers, pools and stuff. Working out in the field. How do you build up hate for your co-workers when they don’t make a fresh pot of coffee doing that?

The way the cops riddled his car with bullets reminds me of Bonnie and Clyde. RAT-TAT-TAT.

From what I have seen from various new agencies, I would not be surprised if this is a terrorist related attack. According to coworkers he kept under the radar at work and rarely conversed with anyone. According to some records he had Redding and Corona CA as his listed place of residence. He is listed as the current job by the county, but there is a LInkedIn page that has him listed as some sort of Business Tax Auditor for San B county. He recently traveled to Saudi Arabia and came home married and started growing his beard out.
To me, this looks like someone trying to keep from being noticed or easily recognized and the wife just makes him look more legit. Though they say he was US Born Citizen. My best guess would be another home grown terrorist that agreed with the ISIS philosophy.
