Maybe get a couple of choices for assignments. If there are no slots, then you will not be able to keep it. Simple as that. When conversing with your Recruiter, stress this if that is what you want to keep doing. But be prepared to be flexible. There is a high chance you will keep your MOS but if there are no available slots you will have to reclass. You will still keep your 35F10 but you will be a MOS T in another AIT. And being a 35F asked some people I know where slots are and your main options right now are Fort Knox, Fort Riley who are deploying to Iraq. My route though is not to stay a 35F. Not interested. 35F currently in AD froze all promotions for a small period. The field got flooded. So, WO is always a way to go if you want active duty.
