My IRR time was complete at 7 years and 6 months. I recently came back in the Army and I picked up where I left off at as an E4. And they counted my IRR time as time in service. So I have 7 years in service right now and 8 years time in grade since I got my E4 in 2011. So in 6 months I will hit 8 years in service. So if I am still an E4 in 6 months will I get kicked out even though I just cane back in and my IRR time was counted to my years in service in grade? Will I get kicked out of the Army for being an E4 at 8 years in service, even if I just got back in the Army? 2019-01-20T20:50:14-05:00 SPC Private RallyPoint Member 4303124

I joined the Army in 2009 and did 4 years active duty. You have two service dates. Your BASD will have been adjusted to 4 years prior to returning, that's what your RCP will be based off of. Your PEBD is the date your pay is based off of.
Also, the way RCP works is that you can't reenlist past your RCP, you don't get kicked out for it. If you are reduced in rank and you are past the RCP of your new rank, then you would be separated 6 months after you were reduced.
