If they need you when you are done with AIT, you could join them later. If they don't need you, then you will stay back with the unit in what is known as the Rear Detachment. This can be easily cleared and explained by your NCOs and your Chain. Don't stress. The other thing you need to ask as well, is if that deployment counts towards your 2 weeks AT for the unit. Then if your held back as rear detachment, you need to make up the 2 week AT somehow for that year.
