Will I be subject to bonus recoupment if selected into 51C?

Will I have to pay back my 11K bonus if I am selected for 51C. I reenlisted as a careerist for 6 years with an ETS dates of 2028 current MOS is 11B? No one can apparently answer my question.

Yes, they will recoup the unused portion of the bonus

Between your Career Counselor and Finance Office, no one could answer this? Yea...you'll get tagged to recoup. Probably prorated....Probably not. Probably the amount you have received to date.

Recoupment is collecting back money paid.
You won't get recouped.
You will get a pro-rated bonus payable from the time of the contract until the time you leave that position.
If you contracted in 2022, and you leave for 51C 24 months later, you will get 2 yrs of the 6 yr bonus.
This is probably spelled out in the contract and addendum you signed for the bonus.
