Will I be receiving the new Army uniform or will I be issued the uniform we have now?

Since I will be going to Infantry OSUT August 11th at Fort Benning, I was just curious if any of you know which uniform I will be getting when I go to reception.

I'm not sure how true it is, but I was told that the new uniforms won't be initial issue until January 2016.

You will get the UPCs. They're not going to be issued to trainees until the new fiscal year from what I understand.

ACU... most likely... new OCP is not supposed to be issued til 1 Nov ish.

I read that initial issue for new soldiers will change over to OCP on January '16

You'll get ACUs. They wont issue the Scorpions to trainees until next year. I'm in TRADOC land, and I'm fighting that battle now.

They'll continue issuing the old ones until they don't have anymore and only at that point will they start issuing new ones. They aren't even standard issue for everyone to have across the board until sometime next year if I'm not mistaken.

Brother you'll be getting the ACUs the new uniform isn't being fully issued out to all army ant national guard foqua while. Depends on the circumstance.

It shouldn't matter what kind of uniform you will be getting keep a strong mind on what your going to be doing wearing it proudly
