They might just leave you sit for a few months until they get around to you again. But then again SFC Boyd may be right! They might get pissed and tell you to “pound sand”. Also a lot may hinge on MOS slot/class availability so you may not have a lot of options. Did you sign anything like if you ca’t get your desired MOS , you can opt out of your enlistment?? Worst comes to worst . If that is the case, you can do that before hand - change of mind. But tell the recruiter of you desire to still go in under a different mos. Before you do it. No one likes going through all that expense of so much time to come up with a person who opts out even before the swearing in after so much work was done. <br /> ask the recruiter if it’ can be done while still lined up to be sent to Basic.before you opt out.
