Damn It. Figures. Working Today at the leading Company for that doing Security but no one in the know is in and even if they were I suspect anything I or they may say would be a Bozo No No, Insider Trading and all that stuff.

Sgt Christopher Wenzel My experience with stocks and investments in general has two points. First, DO NOT play (your word) with the grocery money - only what you can leave on the table, with a smile. Second, and this has been recommended; get a trusted, competent financial advisor.

I never played the stock market because mostly I couldn't follow it and didn't know the right person, so I invested in land, gold and silver. Glad for my investments.

Might want to look up Suzie Orman to get some good back ground on investing.
Be aware about some of the fees that some of these funds will carry. A mutual fund would be good to start off, then once you get more comfortable with the lingo and mechanics go for individual stocks.

Look for and talk with a good financial advisor in your area;; ideally they will be a fiduciary. You can use the FINRA broker check to find out about both your advisor and their firm. If you send me a PM with your location I can check and see if I know someone in that area that is reliable.
