Will America ever catch up to Great Britain in the realm of truly bad characters?

As I read the article on this link from History Extra about the "10 Worst Britons in History", I wondered if America could ever catch up. After all, their history began long before ours and is growing just as fast every day (unless, of course, Britain sank into the sea). Still, we have grown a pretty good rogues gallery of our own in just a couple centuries. Who then are our ten worst to date and how do they match up with Britain's?

Crap we have Jeffery Dahmer, Al Capone, Gen. MacArthur, Truman, Obama, ETC.

As far back in history as is recorded, civilization was uncivilized to the next generation. Most have socially evolved, but a few are still in the dark ages. For proper context, countries/nations bad guys would have to be compared in their timeframe.
