I'm trying to go 160th SOAR and I saw that my DIEMS date said I enlisted in 2016 when I actually enlisted in 2008. They can't update any of my schooling or my awards because they fall before the DIEMS that is on my current ERB.

I'm currently at Fort Benning, and my Brigade does not have a PAS contact. They referred me to a civilian who I have been working with since January who has done nothing up until this week where he submitted a DD1506.

Will the 1506 actually update my DIEMS date? My pay is not incorrect. I am getting the correct pay for being in since 2008, but my DIEMS is messing up everything else on my ERB and preventing me from dropping my 160th packet because it does not have my 15B MOS on it, only the 19K, or getting my next promotion as it says I do not have enough time in service going off the 2016 date. Will a submitted DD1506 actually update my DIEMS date? 2019-04-01T17:45:55-04:00 SGT Private RallyPoint Member 4505129

I was in the National Guard for 9 years before I was able to drop my DD368 and go active. I should have all you qualifications and awards. You should also have gotten an NGB-23, retirement points. Both are important if you stay till retirement since it will get you the correct TIS and credit for you NG time toward retirement. Unfortunately, in my experience, NGB and Army HR are not on the same systems unless something has changed recently. If there is a Army National Guard unit/liaison on post, they may be able to access those for you. If not, contact the state command in the state that you served and they should be able to get those documents for you. You can also request them through the National Archives, but I haven't tried that and don't have a clue how long it takes. It's an emilpo trouble ticket submitted by your HR tech at your Brigade who would be the S1 warrant. The 1506 is only used to be sent to DFAS to update your PEBD and BASD.
Your DOR is updated based off of AR 600-20, and that's just an emilpo update once your DIEMS is fixed.
As for 160th, your 15B MOS is a secondary MOS, and not your primary. You would have to request Reclass back to your old MOS to go to the 160th. Even if their recruiting tells you they can accept you, on HRC has the ability to switch your MOS and 160th has no 19K slots. So your packet would be dead in the water. You'll need a memo from the 15B MOS proponent stating you're still qualified in your old MOS and you can request that change after one year on station.
