Why, if I have 109 days combat during OEF from 00'-04' when I've applied for PTSD since 07' have I been repeatedly denied for compensation and rated at 0% WITHOUT EVER RECEIVING ANY EXAMINATION? I understand there is CFR's in place to make sure the veteran gets the benefit of the doubt when a combat record or ribbons are involved in the equations so I don't understand why I keep getting the same response of "no nexus was established". If I claim neck pain I will be given the benefit of the doubt and sent for a review, why not the same for PTSD especially when the diagnosis for anxiety, nightmares and depression have been clearly and unmistakably diagnosed by VA doctors.

Were you rated 0% or was it deemed not Service connected? There is a world of difference. 0% is actually not terrible news. That means they found a connection but it is not to a degree that requires compensation. You can go back later if it gets worse and file a claim based on medical/MH provider diagnosis and written recommendation. It has to impact your ability to work or care for yourself. They dont pay for physical pain or anguish. Recommend you get your treatment provider to write a letter about the impact and service connection. If this has been done, they need to describe how it has gotten worse.

I got rooked out of 0% for my knees. Pain and future surgery in your knees has nothing to do with 22 years of ruck marches under 70lbs ruck sacks and livining in body armor for deployments or running on tank trails.

Do you have a VSO working to help you on your appeal/claim? Recommend DAV due to your particular issue.
