A friend of mine called Donald Trump a neo-nazi however nazism is the abbreviation of national socialism, and socialism is a left-wing ideology.

Liberals hope that the majority don't remember that the Nazis were socialists. Also not publicized is the fact that Mussolini described facism as their version of the New Deal.

It's called liberalism, the belief in equality and human rights being protected. The argument is that the right-wing is more concerned with liberalism because the issues of gay marriage, guns, climate change, abortion, and state healthcare are a threat to their individual freedom. Liberals don't seem like liberals and more like Nazis.
