Why is it that anytime Trump is mentioned someone is compelled to regress to Hilary?

The election ended a couple of years ago. I don’t much care for the diversion tactic of pointing at the past. That investigation is separate from the one they are conducting currently. What about-ism is the refuge of folks that have weak arguments. Amoral people indeed tend to do similar things. But what is wrong for one to do is wrong for them, not some absolution for the other.

I spoke to a retired COL who worked the Pentagon and the State Department back in the 80s and 90s. Those people getting a letter in their files over having retroactive classified e-mail is a customary discipline.

SNL warned about HRC and her weaknesses. Not Russia, not Google diverting Conservative lookups but HRCs wrongs as mentioned on SNL skit which brought in our POTUS in a protest vote against her and POTUS Obama and the left/liberals can't accept that hence the ongoing investigations since President Trump assumed office.

The issue isn't so much about what Hillary or some other Democrat did, the issue is the hypocrisy on the part of so many people who foam at the mouth at practically everything that President Trump does, while those same people are completely apathetic about Democrats who did exactly the same thing (or far worse in many cases) those people claim to be upset about Trump doing.

The point is that those people really don't give a crap about the issue they're claiming to be offended about, they're just using it as a pretext to bash Trump. Bringing up what Hillary did is a way to point out that hypocrisy and disingenuousness.

From a clinician's perspective, it is the defensive triad of : deflect, distract, and destroy all who challenge them. Given the stakes involved and the overwhelming evidence against this Administration, they got nothing else!

He does it to promulgate and redirect hate for his followers. It also muddles and diffuses the situations. He has done this time and time again. The Federal Government is corrupted by his authoritarian style of leadership. His moral compass is broken. His followers say it's fake news and accept him for who he is.

If justice only serves one side, it really isn't justice. If President Trump is guilty of "High Crimes and Misdemeanors," by all means impeach him. Our senators should then make intellectually honest decisions based on the evidence, not their political opinions. But at the same time, if Secretary Clinton violated the law, she should be indicted, tried, and jurors should then make intellectually honest decisions based on the evidence.

"What aboutism" exists because we have lost faith in the institutions and integrity of our government, and our politicians serve party instead of our nation.

Hillary is a criminal (anyone who thinks that private server wasn't criminal clearly hasn't read the statute covering the handling of classified material) and the left completely ignored/deflected her crimes while there isn't a shred of evidence that Trump committed a crime.
