Why is it that all other military personnel think that Signal can fix anything with a plug?

Why is it that all other military personnel think that we can fix anything with a plug? And most times its a simple 10 level user fix... (Sigh...) field problems.

I thought we could fix erverything with 550 cord and 1000 mile an hour tape lol. This discussion got be thinking of all the things we "fixed" on job sites and in the field.

I think everyone in signal has been burdened at one point or another with this, so I hear where you're coming from.

The more you do it for them, the more dependent on you they become, and the less able or inclined they will be, to do it for themselves.

"Here's the manual, learn to do it yourself" is not a phrase that wins many friends, but it's an important one. It multiplies in importance when you are not around to help them and SHTF.
