(from my perspective)..

1. Integrity. This is something we take for granted in the military, but definitely can't be taken for granted in the private sector.

2. Resilience. Veterans have had to stick through hard times before, and this is something every business owner needs to be able to go through.

3. Kinship. Veterans should invest in other veteran business because we have always supported each other, and should continue to do so. Veterans are trained in the way of entrepreneur with their time in the service. We come to work early and leave late because we know the success of the mission is most important.
2. Veterans are clearly organized trained at all levels of leadership in strategic, long term and short term planning.
3. Military leaders at every level are trained to maximize the skills of their personnel and how to treat each person with dignity and respect while accomplishing the mission.
4. Military leaders know how to save money often working with limited resources but producing the best training and people.
5. Veterans require little to no cross over training. Every veteran at some level has been a program manager, trained in leadership, effective communication, personnel management, organizational management and diversity / equality. While most civilian jobs view these things as training for a leadership position. Every Soldier gets this training annually or semi annually.Response by SFC Christopher Springs made Sep 29 at 2015 9:56 AM2015-09-29T09:56:18-04:002015-09-29T09:56:18-04:00MAJ Private RallyPoint Member1402018

Attitude, flexibility and tenacity.
