I see things at least on a monthly basis about the continued existence of slavery in west African countries. Mali and Mauritania still practice slavery in "minor" forms. If memory serves me right, I believe Mauritania was one of the last countries to outlaw slavery, but as mentioned before it is still practiced, especially in the desert areas far removed from the cities. In some of the Arab countries, the south Asians who come to work there can easily find themselves in abusive situations- being treated like subhumans and only being able take payment through a home and food, which makes it next to impossible to escape from their "employers."Response by SSG Private RallyPoint Member made Nov 24 at 2015 4:25 PM2015-11-24T16:25:37-05:002015-11-24T16:25:37-05:00SPC Nathan Freeman1130283<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div><a target="_blank" href="http://www.frontpagemag.com/fpm/183852/islamic-slavery-and-racism-daniel-greenfield">http://www.frontpagemag.com/fpm/183852/islamic-slavery-and-racism-daniel-greenfield</a>Response by SPC Nathan Freeman made Nov 24 at 2015 4:38 PM2015-11-24T16:38:12-05:002015-11-24T16:38:12-05:00SFC Michael Hasbun1130301<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Finally! An easy one to answer simply. The reason this isn't all over the media is the same reason the death of Freddie Mercury isn't all over the media. It's really old news, for which there is a general assumption that most educated people are already aware. Congratulations on catching up though!
