Why has RP made it so difficult to tag my connections when I respond to their conversations? Is there a filter I can use?

TSgt Joe C. It has gotten more sensitive because there is a change that now allows you to TAG individuals that you aren't connected with. Therefore, you really need to know the entire rank and name. Joe your's didn't appear in the list until I got to the following: @TSgt Joe Cullina....... I had to dd the last 'N' to get it to appear in the list. It may be over sensitive and it may continue you that way because of the over 429,000 members (like names, like ranks, etc.). That is just a guess on my part. SSG James J. Palmer IV aka "JP4" can you shed some light on this? I had to actually copy your name from another post that I had in order to place you name in this post. Everything I used wouldn't allow me to bring up your name using the @ symbol in advance. When I looked you up JP under the search window above under People it only took your rank, your first name, and you middle initial for your name to appear. The change in the body of the responses isn't working good since the change. Please advise SSG Carlos Madden of the issue. I even had a tough time trying to bring up his name when I tried to tag him here in this response. The sensitivity to is too difficult for the name recognition here in the responses. Getting some complaints and it has effected me as well. Thanks!

If the member your trying to tag is a connection adnor already posted in the thread, they come up with fewer correct characters after the @

If your trying to tag some person you once remembered posted something similar but do not have them as a connection you'll have to get much closer to the rank and full name
As for "Some folks can somehow cc hundreds of people" there is no automated way, nor have I seen a post as such... if so, Id think they simply took the time to type in each name....but there is no "tool" I know of provided that will do so.
Proper tagging (other than name) is what allows like minded folks to "see" your post.
As this thread is about RP systems, it could correctly be tagged "RallyPoint" and those in the RP Group would then see the post in their feed.

I have given up on the tagging. Recalling full rank, names and additional titles is overload for me!
