I wouldn't think that there should be any funding issue for Basic TA50, or whatever it's called today, none of the units I served with had a problem with it. Now they may be having supply issues since Covid 19, I deal with them every day in my civilian jobs. <br />Have you talked to your NCO Chain of Command about it? PLT SGT or SFC? Or your PL? It might be that the supply chain just needs a bit more juice that you have as a E-4. If you haven't, I would get a list of all my shortages and start with my Squad Leader and work my way up.Response by CPT Lawrence Cable made Oct 13 at 2021 3:13 PM2021-10-13T15:13:51-04:002021-10-13T15:13:51-04:00SFC Michael Hasbun7319190<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>It's Texas, nothing good happens there.<br /><br />Do you know why the birds fly upside down in Texas?<br />There's nothing worth shitting on...Response by SFC Michael Hasbun made Oct 13 at 2021 4:47 PM2021-10-13T16:47:48-04:002021-10-13T16:47:48-04:00MSG Private RallyPoint Member7319501<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Well, you answered yourself with the tags you used. Money and supply are the reasons. If the TA 50 you need is not readily on hand and the unit can't get their hands on it from BN, then an order needs to be put in the system. However, if there are no funds in the system used for ordering, then the order can't be submitted.Response by MSG Private RallyPoint Member made Oct 13 at 2021 8:24 PM2021-10-13T20:24:38-04:002021-10-13T20:24:38-04:00SGM Private RallyPoint Member7319512<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Units are not authorized shelf stock for OCIE.<br />If you haven't been to CIF, or haven't received a CIF issue fedexed to your unit, that's just on your AGRs not doing their job to get you a CIF appointment or issue shipped.<br />And it's pretty easy for them to just blame someone else, like CIF.Response by SGM Private RallyPoint Member made Oct 13 at 2021 8:30 PM2021-10-13T20:30:49-04:002021-10-13T20:30:49-04:00CPT Private RallyPoint Member7321564<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I'm a CIF Manager in the CT ARNG.
