That is what a democracy is. And that is what allowed the republicans to prevent Obama from doing most of what he wanted to do when democrats controlled the White House and Congress. And it also allows the far right groups in congress to prevent the republicans from doing much of what they want. In the election HRC got more votes than DJT but as we are not a direct democracy that really doesn&#39;t matter for anything other than to show who more people liked. Some traditionally republican states are seeing closer races or are losing seats to liberal candidates. I think that there is a lot of appeasing going on in order to shut up the kids who are wailing and crying.
