If we had a president that did not belittle, demean, constantly lie, constantly attack the facts maybe we would not be where we are at now. Remember this all began in 2016 during the election. There was some pretty ugly stuff being said on this board back then. I actually tried to be nice back then, but ended up being ridiculed, called names, and included in all sorts of Racist innuendo. Also, RP never got a handle on it back then, so now we are stuck with this. So my recommendation to you is suck it up. The all-too-easy anonymity of on-line discussions and social media. Discussing policies, when done right, is hard work. You are forced to analyze your own blind spots, recognize gray areas, complexities, and nuance. You need to do research from multiple sources to try to find foundational facts, or at least some scientific or statistical basis for your favored approach. But talking politics is easy. In my view Politics is a separate entity in the global arena... That is to say that, at least in the United States where we have a two party system each party is diametrically opposed to the other... In the military there is one hierarchy and that is by rank and military protocol... One set of rules to follow not a diverse multi-set of rules. As the saying goes, RHIP or Rank Has Its Privilege. Not so in the civilian way of life, there is no set rule to follow other than Our U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights... That said there is a dichotomy here as each major voting party has their own interpretation of those two major documents that we follow as a rule of law and everyone has a different interpretation of them...

Democrats follow the ideal of Liberalism, while the Republicans subscribe to a conservative approach and therein lies the problem... Two groups diametrically opposed and neither party wishes to cave to the other... They fight for dominance with never the twain to meet... each side has to give up something and in today's culture neither one wishes to give anything to the other so each side blames the other...

Politicians of each party issue their respective policies, direction, ethic and more... In my view, we need a Centrist Party which combines the best of both sides and provides a strong common foot hold and direction for Our Nation... Radicalism has no place in our culture in today's world, yet we have those radicals who are intent on creating a Globalist Society and that is bad news for any essence of FREEDOM... I really believe that our founding fathers hoped for a Centrist type of government for the people of Our Country not the Partisanship politics we have today... My thoughts on the subject...and I am sure other people have other views on the subject... I appreciate the opportunity to share my thoughts on this...
