Why do so many RallyPoint members respond to original questions under other peoples responses? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/why-do-so-many-rallypoint-members-respond-to-original-questions-under-other-peoples-responses

I have noticed over the few months I have been on RallyPoint that many people respond to the original question by posting it as a comment under somebody else's response. I understand when people are commenting on a response; but, it is hard to follow when people are clearly responding to the original question.
Sometimes I have copied my comment which drew unique responses and made it a separate response to the question.
I think this is more a net etiquette issue; but, I was hoping to generate discussion and get more people to post their original thoughts as responses. My they should have a button to respond to comment, and another to respond the original question.... If it's done on one of my responses, I sometimes address that person and ask what their reply has to do with my response and suggest that maybe it would be better for them to reply directly to the original question. Not only that, but they get more points too! 10 points for an original response rather than 3 points for replying to a response. It is bound to happen. I have used forums for pretty much everything I am interested in and it usually happens this way. Even on Facebook you see it. I don't see it as an etiquette issue, more of a common annoyance. PFC Private RallyPoint Member Fri, 26 Jun 2015 09:08:11 -0400 2015-06-26T09:08:11-04:00 2015-06-17T14:02:29-04:00
