Why did you create yours? I haven't read yours and as it seems to be an issue for you, I won't. I usually ask someone if they want to "connect" before sending them a message. I have probably only read 3 or 4 profiles in the 7 months since I joined. I love this site and am proud to have served my country. I am a 100% Disabled Viet Nam Vet. What I gain is the other members' interests, hobbies and information about their service. The most common for me is because I often use a tablet to surf RP and simply put it accidentally registers my touch as a click rather than me scrolling.

2. To get an idea of the background of service members I see on a regular basis on here. Depending on what people do I may or may not want to add them as a contact. It also helps to know what experience someone has in a particular career or hobby as I may be looking for tips in those regards.

3. The last reason I usually look at someone's profile is when it is someone I don't really recognize I try to see if there profile looks legitimate. A lot of people can and do sign up for nothing more than to troll the site and one can generally tell based on how well put together the person's profile is whether they are who they say they are.Response by SrA Matthew Knight made Oct 22 at 2015 1:45 AM2015-10-22T01:45:04-04:002015-10-22T01:45:04-04:00PO1 John Miller1057309

I view profiles to get a basic idea of the member's background and sometimes to see if I know them.
