Why did RP’s update dump my influence points?

Why did the RP app update dump all my influence points? I was almost at 1M points. Now I can’t send messages, can only receive them. How do I get this fixed? SFC James J. Palmer IV aka "JP4" SSG Carlos Madden MSG Private RallyPoint Member LTC Kevin B.

They already explained they did an update and it caused some issues. They're working on it. Just be patient.

Personally, I don't like points. I think it has its use and now some just want to amass the most points without providing much content.

They will get the restored as soon as they figure out what the glitch was. I was just about to get my first Colonel's Eagle. I had over 985,00 points. Dang it!

I don't feel any less influential without points. Some posts merit recognition, others are filler, tag I got you last, or follow the leader. An echo chamber effect reassures that we are correct (in our mind), even when we are not.
