Why can VA Disability reviews be so troublesome? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/why-can-va-disability-reviews-be-so-troublesome

I went to my local VA contractor, QTC for a medical review of a condition yesterday. Initially my visit was fine but quickly turned very adversarial, to include sarcasm and cajoling. Why does it have to be this way? Why is it I feel like I have to prove my issue all over again? This seem completely counter productive. What my DAV rep did not tell me was that arthritis is part of the original disability. So it went no were and I open myself up for a re evaluation. I was blessed my rating stayed the same. Your best advocate is your self SGT and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. It is what it is. Stay strong and Faithful. They don't have no clue what your going through or pains that you have. I have tried for years to claim my physical injuries but every time I get return mail it simply states that there are no medical records. I even have a letter that the VA sent me telling me they transferred them from one department to another and yet they take no responsibility. The joys of dealing with VA, I am fighting with them at this moment. I ETS out the Army 7 months ago. Hadn't anyone told me that if you get separation pay. The VA is going to withhold all that money until it's all recouped before they can pay you your money. This why I have to wait until January 10, 2017 to receive my first payment from VA. Unemployment on the other hand basically told me I would have to wait for them to recoup the separation pay also, and that I wouldn't start receiving unemployment until May 31, 2016. SMDH. Can some one please explain to me what is really going on here with the VA in Winston Salem NC and Unemployment. Something is just not adding up.

Also I received my percentage from the VA in September 21, 2015, why is it VA send me another letter in mail stating that they are working on my claim, when I didn't even appeal anything. First Bout with them I got a 90% disability from them. I am very sorry for the way that SGT Mark Stevens as been treated by these A**h*le. We are the ones who allowed these pricks to have a job and they treat you worse than an animal. Thank goodness I had save my money while I was active duty. If I was really waiting on VA or unemployment, My family and I would be in a shelter somewhere. because right now I'm in the National guard to finish out my retirement and taking online classes. Still looking for a job because of my service connected disabilities I cannot do any strenuous jobs.
