Why block anyone just because you don't like what they say? I've been called a liar and a bastard, but still no blocks. Can't handle reality?

I started on the News Groups when the social part of the internet was wild and woolly. Not much bothers me after that experience.

I block to dump them out of my feed. Infowars and Gateway Pundit mainly, but there are a few other sites.

I haven't blocked anyone in a very long time (personal attacks and vulgar insults) but I have learned to stop feeding the trolls. Most will go away on their own.

I'm not interested in shin kicking contests. I block people who are insulting. Other than that, I find the comments of those that disagree with me far more interesting than of those that agree with me.

I've blocked people who consistently post stuff disparaging groups of people just because I am tired of seeing their daily 20 posts of the same thing every morning.
