Why are we so fueled up by everything that’s divided us?

Okay, so we have had been pitted against just about everything that separates us. No matter what race, gender, or political stance we have or had, we’re still fighting against ourselves. I really wished all this crap would stop and just be either American or just plain human. Down with everything else. Too many people have fought and died already. It all needs to end.

If wishes were fishes... Yes, we all wish "all this crap would stop", but it won't. So, what should we do? Submit? That's what's being asked, demanded of US. Submit.

Social Media allows people to group more with people who think exactly the same, so there is less discussion of opposing views and more agreement. When challenged people are more likely to see the challenger as wrong because they have people they talk with agreeing with them. Everyone has a voice now and the news is only showing the worst possible stuff (and usually with a political lean on it). Instant worldwide information makes things look worse as well. It's not that more stuff is happening, it's that we hear about more of the bad things happening.

People have forgotten that different opinions are allowed. You don't have to respect a person's opinion, but you do have to acknowledge that they have an opinion.
