Why are soldiers in these days so apathic,in using the new Class B ?
It seems that there is like a kind of alergy of some sort,or something strange with leaders and commanders, to enforce it's use.

In short, the white shirt sucks for daily use.

The Dress Blues are great. The Class B looks like a mall security guard. The army apparently doesn't care about the class B because everybody wears the ACU anyway. However, the Army is the only service that where is it wears the combat uniform in public (except the other service might wear there for field static displays) I think the army should develop a professional looking class B hopefully something like the old khakis!

You are very correct sir. I also believes, that the Army should promote a much more professional appearance and use of the dress uniforms, for light duty activities.
They could also do it,by adopting a tan or kaki shirt, with the new trousers, very similar to the one used by the U.S. Marine Corps.
We need to raise the proper use of the proper dress uniforms standards.
I was a Public Relations and Promotions Specialist, during my civilian career, and knows very well about this field of projecting image.

We should suggest that idea to the Army Uniform board!

Speaking from the perspective of a retired Tanker, except for when I was a Recruiter and wore it daily, it was not a practical uniform for daily wear.

SFC William Swartz Jr - I agree with your point of view, under those work circumtances. Otherwise, a Class B is the mandatory uniform, when performing light or very light duty work,as well as for any other light military actvity of any sort.

SSG Walter Corretjer I would tend to agree for those performing administrative type duties, ie finance, personnel, etc. for those in the combat arms or combat support roles, no, the utility uniform, be it BDUs, ACUs or the new uniform should be the uniform.

As l told you before, for combat related, heavy duty work,or the like jobs,a utility or combat uniform is the prescribe type of wearables. For any other kind of military activity, the indicated uniform must be,a light comfortable dress type uniform.
I still don't know, why in today's Army, people believe that a combat or utility uniform is an all purpose uniform.I have even seen, officers seated on a reunion table, were all civilians are wearing coat and tie, wearing an ACU with combat boots.
That's shameful, even more when this officer was a full colonel lady.
This is just an example, of today's Army substandard and mediocre way, of using our military uniforms.

I, for the entirety of my career, with the exception of my time as a recruiter, never wore anything other than the combat uniform of the day: 1987-2013. It was and continues to be the daily uniform for our Army; while I agree with your view that it was disgraceful for a COL to wear her ACUs for a reunion, the current Class-B uniform, even with addition of ones awards and related accoutrement, makes an individual look as though they are a flight attendant, mall cop or a bus driver. I do not agree with you in that the daily uniform MUST be a light comfortable dress type uniform, it does not represent the Army that I served in for 26 years and would place an undue burden on younger Soldiers as far as the cost of maintaining said uniform.
