Most of them were born with a silver spoon in their mouth and will NEVER serve in the military! But I bet if they walked a mile or take a PT testbin our shoes..they will see differently! Most of them would tap out after a field problem! Honestly, the only places I have been treated badly was San Francisco during the Vietnam war, and by the VA after retirement. Deeds are another matter though, our political system favors those who can buy influence. Congress has no problem passing tax cuts for trust fund babies, even while they reduce funding for the VA. The answer is to get money out of politics, until that happens most politicians will remain deaf to the needs of veterans. I know because it was me who was ill treated. They acted like the WTU was a factory, and for some odd reason people get a sense of power which makes their brains devoid of compassion.
