CSM Michael J. Uhlig I think it would prove Trumps claim to be the President for all the people. Mitt Romey is a business man as well. If Romey accepts the position, then you know he has personally (not publicly) apologize for things said during the election process. My second choice would be Rudy, and don't think that Petraeus would pass a senate confirmation because he broke the law, just like Hillary! Just my 2 cents - not everyone will agree with me!

From the choices you listed I would select former CIA Director and retired US Army General David Petraeus as Secretary of State because of his detailed and recent knowledge of the middle east, north Africa and southwest Asia stemming from his military assignments and his broader background as CIA Dircetor CSM Michael J. Uhlig. I think he has paid his debt to society because of his adulterous relationship with former Army captain and USMA graduate Paula Broadwell.

Bernie Sanders would be my choice, however if I was a Republican looking to broaden the size of my coalition I would be looking at someone like Senator Jeff Flake.

When you think of US international relations, the three listed would not be on the top of anyone's list if they were being pragmatic? I understand that Giuliani and Gen. Petraeus seem like team Trump favorites and Romney would be a sign of working to mend...whatever people think needs mending? I think going outside the box makes more sense...and maybe a Bob Corker...but would actually advise him to reverse his process on this and pick a person who is most knowledgeable on the most important international relations moving forward...China, Middle East, Iran (Iran intentional listed separate of the Middle East for geo-political reasons), Russia or Europe? Where is the new administrations focus? Are any of those listed experts on any of those regions? Hey, has anyone from the Trump team been talking to Dr. Condoleezza Rice? Yeah, that might be a sign of peace gesture to the Bushs?

nt my first choice but there are not many names out there that would be willing to work with trump. Trump scares the beejeebees out of me. Yes, I am republican. I wil sacrifice and volunteer for secstate
