Personally, I was hoping Dr Carson would have made more of an impact, but I think he was too soft spoken in this campaign of loud mouths.

In the primary I had voted for Ben Carson. I have read two of His books, " A more Perfect Union," which deals with the US Constitution and the functions of Government also His book, "One Nation". He is very well versed on all these subjects. I feel He had both the backbone, the knowledge and the intelligence to make an excellent President plus the great communication skills to express Himself. I feel many were not fully aware of the very strong points and respect He could have brought to that office A this point what will the results be? I don't know but I'm worried about it !

Republican side I'd go for many past candidates, Mitt Romney, Ron Paul, John McCain, Herman Cain, and preferably Senator Hoeven.

I never have really cared for anyone on the Democratic side but if I had to choose someone over HRC then either Sanders or Biden I guess.

I still like Romney as a Republican candidate, I just wish he could campaign with his true beliefs and still get the nomination.

I liked Sanders this year. I didn't agree with a single one of his policies, but I liked that he had a vision for America and was running for that vision.

I like Weld for a Libertarian candidate. His history on the 2nd amendment is a little worrisome, but he seems to be an intelligent man with experience as a successful governor.

Although I voted for Donald Trump in the November election in the Federal l primary My choice was Ben Carson. Ben Carson is quite well informed on the functions of Government and the US Constitution I have read His book on that subject, " A More perfect Union" another the books He has written " One Nation " , which I have also read, cements His understanding of what needs to happen. I feel He could express Himself without being offensive but still make His message loud and clear to anyone that payed proper attention to what He had to say. I listened to Him and was impressed !. Doctor Ben Carson wasn't all about Ben Carson but was about the unity of all of us as American citizens !
