He was by far my favorite President that I've had the privilege to call my Commander in Chief.

I've only served under the current administration. I don't have a favorite yet, but I'm guessing it'll be whomever we elect in 2016.

George W. Bush - by far was the best "Commander in Chief" I had the pleasure to work for and showed (and continues to show) a genuine interest in this role! Plus he had military experience in the USAF and National Guard!

George W. Bush is my favorite!

I joined during the Reagan years, saw Bush I cut the force two divisions, then Bill Clinton eliminated 8 more Divisions and 7 Corp from Germany. During the Clinton years, I remember being a Company commander for an AG unit in the reserve and arguing for ammunition to range fire, only to have it turned down by BN Command until my last year.

It all started to change when W. came in, we could actually prepare soldiers for missions and then after 9/11, we had lots of catch up and units deploying after years of under investment.

I fear have done the same under Obama and Hilliary, I have seen the same actions. Cut the force, reduce funding and training requirements.

I will be out soon, one of my boys may serve and the poor smuck behind me will wonder how the force become unprepared and I will say, it started under Obama and I know what Hilliary will do, I have lived that once already.

I pray people wake up and clearly see the impact of our choices, our freedom depends on a strong force.

I have only served under 2, G.W. and the current one. I would say Junior is my favorite I served under so far. I'm currently serving on his father's ship, too. :-)

Ronald Reagan. I was surprised at how good and smart a President he was. When he was Governor, he came across a someone reading a script and being prompted by his wife, Nancy. It totally changed my opinion of him.

JFK, while he handled the Cuban Missle crisis masterfully, fraudulently entered the Navy and because his father had connections and money, he had his own doctor and had steroids around the world to treat him. Very deceptive.

I served under H.W. for about a month and a half while I was in boot camp until Clinton took office. Then W. Bush, and Obama.

So I would have to say that I DIDN'T have a favorite CINC.

I served under Reagan, GHWB, Clinton, GWB, and Obama. As my CinC, I appreciated all of them, but President Obama was my favorite.

Reagan was POTUS during my first 18 months and I was able to benefit from his first 6 1/2 years in office as our Army had made great strides in equipment updating as well as upgrades in pay and benefits for all service members. Just behind him, to me, is W, while he may have "gotten us into" 2 wars, I never felt more of a sense of pride in being a Soldier and an American at anytime during the previous 8 years, or the following 4 1/2 years of my career prior to retiring.
