Who wants to go to Sicily on me?

I am an OIF ('06) veteran and a PhD student in Archaeology. I am starting a new organization where I am looking for take veterans with me on an excavation in either Sicily or Cyprus. I have some interest, and I am still waiting on funding to come through (a civilian team is going to pull the funding together), but I need to gather as many interested parties as I can to show the supporters that vets really are interested.

Fill out the initial application, and as soon as the formal application process is complete I will send out the info. Decisions on who will go will not be made until January, and the excavation won't be until summer of 2016 (four weeks in length).

This is planned to be a 100% funded expedition.

(FYI, the site director is very pleased to have vets go as it means people who are not afraid of work and understand the chain of command.)

You are several decades too late for me - sorry. I would have loved to have done this when I was physically stronger.
