I see the pumping up of Mullah Omar as propaganda, but there's probably still something to be learned from it. And I imagine their detailing the organization of the Taliban is a good thing. Good basic intel that we can use to confirm, update, or question what we already had on the organization. This seems like a ploy to hype him up for some reason, likely deteriorating health, or for propaganda of some sort. Even with this biography he is still a rather elusive and mysterious HVT in our war on terror.
