I remember it all too well when I was at Cp Casey. Don't want to go back to it ever again. It was washed out during the flood and the place likely never got so clean in years from the river water.

I remember filling sand bags at Hovey and Casey during the Monsoon's. I agree that realty sucked. Best pressure wash it had probably in years!!!

Two weeks in country the great monsoon flood appeared. It washed away items, equipment, ect from Cp Hovey all the way to Cp Casey and maybe to Cp Mobile. Motorpools were rivers and lakes. I remember the quanson huts were destroyed and gone in minutes once taken over by the raging flooded rivers.

Turtle farm was in Casey. S-1 did run it. Here are some old pics! Officers generally didn't inprocess through the farm.http://rokdrop.com/2009/04/21/a-pictorial-history-of-camp-casey/

In the 90s they moved it to Mobile, then Stanley, now it resides at Hovey. In the near future, will move with the rest of 2ID to Camp Humphreys!
