Street? Dirt? Or a combination? What drives (pun intended! LOL) you?

I started on dirtbikes and moved to ATVs as well, which I raced for a number of years. Mostly all Harleys now. I ride with the CVMA (and Patriot Guard when I have time) raising money to help Vets and Vet organizations.

Right now just street, but I used to ride dirt as well. Although I am working on an interesting project with my son turning a Ninja 250 into a Scrambler. Daughters Harley is the blue one in the background and you can just see the saddlebags on mine to the right.

I starting on lawn mower engine bikes, then I road for a local Suzuki shop riding dirt bikes. Lived in Alabama where you can get your motorcycle license at 14 as long as it was under 150cc. So went to Enduros. From that cruisers, mostly Honda, because I couldn't afford much else. I think it was a 500cc Honda Ltd. Then just kept going up from there. Last bike was a 1200 Sporster custom. Now I have a new to me 2009 Harley Electa Glide Ultra Classic. Got it with only 3700 miles on it. It was a one owner, and he only rode it on weekends with friends for lunch. I lucked out big time! I ride with the CVMA and help the Patriot Guard when I'm able.

Rode dirt bikes growing up, and now ride a 2013 Harley Road Glide Ultra. Almost all of my riding is out on the open road. Nothing feels like freedom more than the smell of open.

TSgt David L. I have wanted a HOG since I was ten. I finally was in a position to acquire one, and convinced my wife that it was more Practical for my work commute in FL because federally I could use it in the HOV lane to get to work. 2007 Heritage Softail Classic. I actually have zero photos of me riding. First image day I bought her. Second is my grandson sitting on her with my helmet on (My daughter HATED that I did that), last is the day I picked her up from Palm Beach Harley Davidson.

I taught myself to ride on a little Honda dirt bike in an arroyo behind my apartment while I was at Ft. Carson.
From there I jumped to a Norton Commando. And the Gold Wings. I recently sold my latest GoldWing because it is getting to heavy for my failing knees. But I still ride and I'm currently on a Honda 1100 shadow. Over 40 years on a bike!
