We know about all the big time POTUS candidates. But what about those fringe, and maybe bizzare candidates who run for President? Who is or was the most ridiculous candidate to run for President? As a bonus question, who do you THINK may be a real candidate who competes in the 2020 elections?

Lyndon LaRouche hands down CH (MAJ) William Beaver. He was a thorn in the side of the democratic party for a couple decades as he kept throwing his hat into the ring. After he was in prison that was more difficult.
He believed that England was the evil empire and that all evil emanated from the British royal family. He lived and operated near where have been living for the past 20 years or so. I used to debate his disciples outside of firehouse primaries in northern Virginia in the 1990s.

Pat Paulsen actor/comedian or Gus Hall, Secretary General Communist Party USA ran in '72, '76, '80, '84. He received 58K votes in '76.

Pat Schroeder & boy did she hate Marines...There was a cartoon of her in a Marine Newspaper that had her eating a banana & it looked like she was doing Oral....She went ballistic!! The cartoon was in retribution for some negative remarks she made about Marines in one of her congressional hearings she held quizzing the military She tried to make amends during her campaign for president and had a social hour with drinks and snacks And when she made the rounds meeting the Marines, nobody knew who she was..She bitched to a Full Bird Colonel and he had no idea who she was either .. Shorty after that social she quit her campaign for president and cried continuously So you can thank Marines for Pat Schroeder from Minnesota crying & quitting her race to the White House I'm not 100% positive but I think the Colonel may have been Al Gray..
