I don't know, I've seen his layout and there seems to be more medals and ribbons than any LTC I've ever seen. One news commentator probably misspoke saying Vindman was a Vietnam Vet - Not at his age! The Unit Crest above the ribbons on his right is the 2nd ACR, they were part of the spearhead in Pres Bush SR's, incursion to Iraq (my final assignment before I retired), and I retired BEFORE Desert Storm.

Laughable that a major from another command claims he verbally reprimanded another major. The author, a retired LTC knows the difference between a verbal reprimand, which he lacked any authority to give (based on his own description of the working relationship) and speaking his mind.
Further, the alleged incident has zero relevance to LTC Vindman's testimony and whistleblower protection, and the retaliation/reprisal for protected communications.
Further, the retaliation wasn't limited to LTC Vindman, but his brother was also removed from his position as part of the retaliation.
