One cup to start the computer which is enough time to get a second cup. Saturdayss are the same but substitute that days lawn equipment for computer.

I have kids. Hell yes I need coffee. Actually, I needed way before them. I was at Harmony Church for basic in some old WWIII barracks. The hot water was so hot coming out of the taps we could hold a canteen cup under the faucet with instant coffee and come away with a steam cup of joe.

Don't need it necessarily in the AM but being a Lifer that retired from Washington State, I do like my Starbucks Sugar Fix.

I remember the first time I had coffee on granddad's farm when I was 9 years old. It was a cold morning in Fern Creek, KY, we had just checked on the cattle and assorted farm animals, so all was at peace in the world. Granddad told me to 'try this' and I am sure he was thinking I would sip and spit it back out.
I remember taking a big, scalding slurp and smiling the entire time and telling Papa I loved it!

I was lying through my teeth, the roof of my mouth was burned, my tongue was on fire, I could not imagine why Papa would give me this Bitter tasting bile with lumps of coffee grounds in it.

But it was what he and Dad drank and I have had coffee almost every day of my life since then.
I have tried going completely decafe (what's the point!), giving it up, switching to tea or hot water, it just does not work for me.

I will continue the black tar swilling, teeth staining, brain awaking from slumber sipping coffee.

Coffee is used by me to keep people alive that aggravate me in the morning....! at least 3 mugs, not cups....MUGS
