Opinion based gives them liberties to lie through their teeth. If you want fact based news then you need to watch PBS. But that is too boring. We also enjoy CBS 60 Minutes. However, I'm an avid NPR listener. It's on in my car constantly. I even have an NPR sticker on it, and brought my NPR coffee mug on my deployment.

I do enjoy, though, Al Jazeera and the BBC for world news and the Stripes for military-centric news. Lastly, there is a swell of amazing military blogs coming up which are must-reads. While not necessarily "news", they are topical and interesting.
