I get everything from across the globe which is better than hearing about LiLo's latest flub.

I do check CNN and Fox each day, but I definitely take what I read with a grain of salt.

BBC can have some great in-depth reporting but they do seem to miss some of the more obvious headlines.Response by CPT Private RallyPoint Member made Jul 2 at 2014 10:29 AM2014-07-02T10:29:00-04:002014-07-02T10:29:00-04:00Capt Richard I P.489634

I prefer comedy news. Opinion based gives them liberties to lie through their teeth. If you want fact based news then you need to watch PBS. We also enjoy CBS 60 Minutes. However, I'm an avid NPR listener. It's on in my car constantly. I even have an NPR sticker on it, and brought my NPR coffee mug on my deployment.

I do enjoy, though, Al Jazeera and the BBC for world news and the Stripes for military-centric news. Lastly, there is a swell of amazing military blogs coming up which are must-reads. While not necessarily "news", they are topical and interesting.Response by MAJ Private RallyPoint Member made Feb 22 at 2015 8:16 AM2015-02-22T08:16:16-05:002015-02-22T08:16:16-05:002014-07-01T23:12:54-04:00
