Who do I contact for WWII Vet Army Air Corps honors?

I'm planning ahead with the news I've received. My grandfather (WWII Vet) isn't doing well and as the doctor says and without getting into too much detail "It's the beginning of the end". I'm just planning ahead since I almost had an issue with getting my uncle Honors for his service (Navy). I need to get information to prepare for what is to come.

I want to elaborate on this.....
My grandpa has certificates from both the Army Air Corps and Marines for his service. I'm assume he was attached with a Marine squadron while he was serving. I would figure the Army would be the ones to get in touch with but since he had recondition with the Marines, it was a toss up. I imagine that our hometown Legion would be there too.

my gand father in law ww2 pow army air corps, have your local people reserch, va, vfw, amvets and find what ever documents save by your loved one exist myself i'll be burried sampson state veterans park
