Who can we contact to get assistance in helping my deployed husband return in time for his reclass school?

Husband is deployed they sent him overseas a month ago , but his reclass school starts in October. The army can’t decide when they need to send him back stateside who can I reach out to , to get proper stuff done or people involved back stateside. To add to it they can’t get his official orders printed at his location and he needs to do it back at base here stateside but there seems to be no one who knows what to do to redeploy him back for his schooling.

Amanda Rold sounds as if your husband needs TDY (temporary duty) orders to attend school. The unit in charge of the school should be able to ‘cut’ those orders. (that’s how it was done when I was on Active Duty)

I don't really know, but wouldn't the rear detachment of his company/battery be able to print/obtain his orders? As they would be losing and therefore gaining personnel they have to be in the loop somehow. He should ask his command team.

He needs to talk to his Career Counselor, plain and simple. His Career Counselor can talk to the CSM who makes these decisions of who goes and who stays.

Your Husband needs to speak to his chain of Command and the Career counselor and escalate as needed as it will be a high vis screwup on the command if he misses the school date. There is little you can do though as you are out of the loop

May be wrong; however, I do remember a phrase, "Military needs come first." I believe a deployment trumps school.
