How should I use the Marketplace when I'm approved to reclassify? Will picking a location for my current MOS impact where I go after school?

I am currently on recruiting and originally supposed to PCS in December as my 3 years is up, I was recently approved for a reclass to another MOS in which my school is in July 2022 keeping me here in recruiting till then. I got an email stating that my Marketplace has opened up for my current MOS for PCS dates of July 2022-November 2022. My question is, is it worth picking a location for my current MOS if im going to school in July or how do I go about it when looking at the Marketplace. Iv been told ill be needs of the Army because I reclassed. Also if I choose will it effect where I may go after I finish school for my new MOS?

Your marketplace email is a mistake. Your AEA Code should be "M" preventing you from being placed on assignment. Now that you're reclassing your branch will not be handling your assignment, Retention and Reclass Branch will handle your next assignment.

Email your branch manager tell him you are reclassing and shouldn't be on the marketplace. Contact your Career Counselor tell them about the email and have them get the AEA M code placed on your record

You’re in a tricky situation. I will say this though. Make sure chooses for worst case scenario since are talking about the Army. Best case DA tracks you’re going to be in a reclass/student status.
