Through your military Career who is someone not family from the past or present that was your military hero or someone you thought of as a mentor or idol.
Mine are Lieutenant General Chesty Puller USMC and Brigadier General Robin Olds USAF. Both where not afraid to make waves and step on toes. Just kick ass and take names and get the job done. Both where also highly decorated in their careers.

I served under his son in the old 4th AD; proud that I did in 1970 and was TDY on his staff in June of that year for an FTX. Just found out through Ancestory.com my wife is a distant cousin!!!
