I'm actually going to enjoy watching this World Series. Both teams are top notch. Sides that they are both underdogs..lol. I think Bartman is safe now...maybe...

This is an interesting article about Terry Francona, the current Tribe club manager, and Theo Epstein, the current Cubbies General Manager. Francona and Epstein worked together in Boston as club manager and General Manager when the Red Sox won the World Series after 86 years. Francona has experience winning in the post season down on the field. Epstein has experience as an executive winning from the box office. Joe Maddon is the Cubs club manager. Aside from winning to get into the World series I am unaware of his performance. The best record in baseball this season I am sure says enough about Joe Maddon's capabilities as a manager though. This is going to be a great series!

I was rooting for the Cubbies. Shoot they deserve to win it after 108 years. Besides, they have been one of the top teams in baseball all year.

This could be known as the Turnpike Series where I live...Cleveland's about 2 hours away and Chicago about 5 hours. I like both teams, but I'd like to see the Cubbies end their series drought.

I am going for the Cubs all the way. I had the honor and pleasure to work in Wrigley Field during the 90's. I got to meet Harry Cary and many other legendary players and Cubs people. They have the best fans and the best true baseball stadium still operating. I was the Ass't Warehouse Manager, I did all the ordering of food and beverage for the stadium as well as oversee the concession staff for several years. Very memorable.
